PRE-FALL HIGH STREET HERO'S

High Street Hero'sEmma CarrComment

So there’s still officially four weeks of summer left but the Pre-Fall collections have hit the high-street giving us our first glimpse of what we’ll be wearing in the months to come. The Pre-Fall collections are perfect for negotiating those tricky months in-between high summer and autumn, and if you pick the right pieces they should see you all the way through the autumn/winter season.

Here are five of my favourite Pre-Fall pieces on the high-street right now:

French Connection wrap skirt

Styled with a t-shirt and sandals for summer or with a chunky knit and boots for autumn/winter this skirt ticks all the boxes. Khaki has also become a fashion staple, so it will be a piece you can come back to season after season.

Topshop Magnificent boots

Topshop always get it right when it comes to boots and these 70’s inspired ones will look just as good with a skirt as they will with jeans. The fitted style around the ankles will also keep those legs warm when worn with all the cropped style trousers on offer. Which takes me to my next piece…..

Zara faux leather cropped trousers

Love them or hate them culottes are sticking around for another season. A great alternative to a skirt these faux leather ones will look great worn with heeled sandals for summer and knee length boots for autumn/winter.

Zara short trench coat

I love anything you can layer and this trench is perfect for that. Styled with a t-shirt and jeans in the summer or worn over a fine knit and denim jacket in the autumn, this is a great wardrobe staple whatever the season.

Zara micro jacquard waistcoat

There are lots of these tank tops around, which again are great for layering. Worn with a vest or t-shirt for summer or layered over a shirt or roll neck for autumn/winter, you’ll be able to create lots of different looks with this waistcoat.

Mango leopard print bag

I know I said my favourite five pieces, but I had to include this leopard print shoulder bag from Mango! For me leopard print is a neutral and there’s no better way to incorporate it into your wardrobe than with accessories, plus a girl can never have too many bags.
